Mohonk Consultations is delighted to honor Judith Enck, President of Beyond Plastics, with our 2023 Distinguished Achievement Award in recognition of her groundbreaking efforts to bring attention to the plastic pollution crisis.
Each year, we hold our Distinguished Achievement Award ceremony at Mohonk Mountain House to honor an exceptional member of our community committed to protecting our ecological and human environment and improving the quality of life for residents of the Hudson Valley. This year’s ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 11, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m in the outdoor pavilion above Lake Mohonk.
Judith Enck founded Beyond Plastics in 2019 to end plastic pollution through education, advocacy, and institutional change. Prior to that, she held top influential positions in state and federal government, including Regional Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency under President Obama, Deputy Secretary for the Environment in the New York Governor’s Office, and Policy Advisor to the New York State Attorney General.
Guest speakers helping us celebrate Judith’s important achievements will include:

- Megan Wolff, Beyond Plastics Policy Director
Guests will enjoy a dinner buffet as well as musical entertainment from Betty and the Baby Boomers. Tickets are $50 for the general public and $35 for students and must be purchased in advance.
