Celebrating the Heart of Community Service
Mohonk Consultations is proud to honor Colleen Geraghty—social worker, activist, community organizer, and dedicated volunteer—at our June 14 Distinguished Achievement Award celebration at Mohonk.

Through this annual award, Mohonk Consultations recognizes the efforts of people and organizations that show an extraordinary level of commitment in making the Hudson Valley more habitable, healthy, and participatory. This year, we are honoring Colleen Geraghty, whose deep commitment to public service and tireless volunteer efforts have raised awareness about domestic violence and the impact of homelessness and lifted the spirits of countless community members and provided assistance to people in need of all kinds of help. In addition to honoring Colleen, we will be honoring the many community members who have contributed to our local shelters and to Project Linus.
Tickets are now on sale for this Sunday, June 14, celebration at the Mohonk Pavilion, featuring live music, a silent auction of quilts donated by community quilting groups (with proceeds to benefit Project Linus and Family Inn), tributes from distinguished speakers, and a grilled summer feast—and strawberry shortcake!

I am a passionate believer in the innate goodness of the human spirit, and time and time again as a social worker, an activist, and a community organizer, I have seen the resilience and the magnificent nature of people coming together to support those in our communities who are marginalized or in need.
