You’re invited to join us on July 15 for our first “Community Conversation” featuring Livia Vanaver and Elisa Parker. You will hear two experienced people share some music and then you will have a chance to engage in conversation about the powerful forces that music can play in all of our lives.

Mohonk Consultations announces our pilot for an upcoming series of small, neighborly gatherings. We envision an opportunity for a group of people to listen and interact with others on current, or ageless, poignant issues.
Our first “Community Conversation” will be 7:30 pm, July 15, at Mohonk Mountain House.
There will be a short presentation followed by questions and answers, and then plenty of time to have an open and facilitated conversation.
Music, and movement too, have long been a source of healing and enrichment, reminding us of our shared humanity. Music brings us together as a community, whether singing, playing instruments or just listening. It elicits a sense of wellbeing. It’s good for the soul!
In this conversation, we will explore how the power of music has been evident—or lacking—in our own lives, and discuss how we, as individuals who are part of a community, can use music to heal and connect with others.
Seating is limited to 30 people, so get your tickets soon!
